Completing the 92
The 92. 92 teams, 92 different grounds and 92 different stories.
Poole Town are not members of the 92, but members of Poole Town, are aiming to go to all 92, yes, all 92 grounds in England's top four football leagues.
Dan Wilson and Matt Reeds are kitmen for local Southern League Premier South side, Poole Town. The duo's other passion, as well as cleaning dirty boots and pumping up Mitre footballs, is ground hopping.
Ground hopping, funny name, is basically people who go to different football matches, at a variety of new and different grounds.
Wilson and Reeds have been avid football fans since they were young. As well as the two following Poole all around the south, they're both on course to complete the 92 within the next few years.
The 92.Our Story.
"Football isn't just the 90 minutes of watching, it's the day out and the ground as well": Dan Wilson.
Wilson has currently ticked of 74/92 grounds with trips to Grimsby, Barrow and Harrogate all in the pipeline.
Reeds on the other hand has completed 77/92, and says he is 'slowly getting there.'
Reeds found his love for football from a young age, attending games with his dad at Portsmouth's Fratton Park. The two also attended games at The Dell watching Southampton and even went up to the City Ground, to watch Nottingham Forest.
"In the mid 90's I got into attending AFC Bournemouth games, and in the 98/99 season, me and a friend attended every game home and away, which resulted me in visiting 23 new grounds", Reeds said.
"Certainly after that season, I got the bug for going to more games, to keep chizzling away at the 92."
Wilson's 92 journey started from a young age, following Bournemouth home and away in the EFL, and from then on, going to more and more new grounds.
Poole Town's Assistant Kitman also follows England home and away, and has ticked off many Premier League grounds, as part of England playing friendlies all over the country, from Newcastle to Wembley.
"It makes it a really good day out going with Reedsy, it's good fun ground hopping and seeing new grounds."
Dan Wilson
With both Wilson and Reeds both working full time jobs, as well as being kitmen for Poole, I wondered just how they fit this challenge in.
"It is a tricky balance, trying to balance being a kitman and all that comes with it.
"When we can, we try and squeeze a game in on a midweek night or a Sunday", Reeds said.
Wilson said:
"The further you get into the challenge the harder it gets.
"We both live so far down south which makes it harder to get up north midweek.
"You can't always plan for everything to go ahead, for example, we were going to go to Newport but it got called off... so we ended up in Crewe."
Reeds outlined how his and Dan's mutual interest in ground hopping came about.
He said: "I've known Dan for a number of years but we started kitting for Poole three years ago.
"We had a mutual love of Poole Town but also going to football grounds, ticking off the 92 or just going to other non league games."

The Grounds.
'Valley Parade is so historic.'
Wilson and Reeds' most recent groundopping experience was a cold, December trip up north, to one of the most historic football grounds in the country.
A cold Monday in December, with Bradford City beating Port Vale 1-0.
"A recent highlight was definitely a trip to Bradford's Valley Parade.
"What I loved about it was going to a historical football ground, which is set amongst houses, which you don't see too much of any more.
"Their stadium dominated the skyline.
"It's a bit similar to when you go to places such as Fratton Park, Luton, Ipswich.
"I really enjoyed it", said Reeds.
Wilson was also a huge admirer of the historic Valley Parade.
"It's such a great atmosphere, great ground, you name it, it was UNBELIEVABLE.
"It was different to these newer stadiums which are just 'bowl' grounds", he said.
The two have obviously been to many other memorable grounds, with some of the best old school one's, being demolished or expanded.
"Griffin Park (Brentford's old ground) was such a unique ground, as well as Fratton park.
And what about the more modern grounds?
"Tottenham. That should be the blueprint for every modern ground, unreal", Wilson said.
Reeds told me about one of his most memorable away day experiences, at a current EFL ground.
"I was 20 and I consciously made the decision on my own, that I would go and watch AFCB's first match of the season away at Northampton.
"It was a glorious summer's afternoon, Bournemouth won 2-0, and after that I got the confidence to take myself to more games on my own."
The two have certainly been on some memorable trips, with plenty more of the 92 to tick off, with new teams from the National League entering League Two, every season.
So what's next, what's lined up?
"We looked at Harrogate on a Friday night in few weeks, but it is just so far and they are bottom of League Two", Wilson said.
To be fair, Harrogate is a bit nicer than Barrow, Grimsby and wherever is left to tick off, in the 92.
For Reeds' and Wilson, the focus is kitting for Poole, in an exciting promotion race, but who knows, if a game gets called off... they may just find a ground to tick off!
